Anzac Day

On the 25th of April we celebrate Anzac Day.  What is Anzac Day you ask?  Its where we remember those men and women who died to save our Country, and who still do fright to protect our country from harm.

I'm very grateful that we have brave men and women who put there life on the line for us each and every day. 

Remembering a great Easter

I don't know about you, but I had a great Easter long weekend.  Four days off it was wonderful.  For the first two days I just potted around my house it was great.  I must say I did watch a lot of T.V. lol.  Easter Sunday I caught up with my family and held my great Niece which was only four days old.  Dear little Mia such a perfect little baby.  My sister was over from Tasmania with her daughter and two gran daughters just for the Easter long weekend.  My dad and mum were there as well both my parents are nearly ninety and are still very happy and in love.

The weather was fantastic I couldn't have ask for better weather.  The youngest kids had an Easter egg hunt, and found lots of Easter eggs.  Chocolate smiles all around.  I still haven't open up any of my Easter eggs yet, because my kids have been sharing theirs with me.:-)

There was so much food, and lots of photos were taken.  It was very late by the time we said good-bye to everyone.  Lots of memories were made I'm happy to say.

By Monday my youngest daughter was feeling sick because she ate to much chocolate the day before, so she spent most of the day in bed. 

In the afternoon my husband took my daughter and I out to dinner and after that we walk along the beach for a while then pick up my son and his girlfriend.

Happy Good Friday

Day one of my four days off.  My oldest son left with his girlfriend today, they are going to Sydney for Easter long weekend.  And my oldest daughter is going away with her boyfriend and her family, for the Easter long weekend as well.  She was crying last night because she thought I would be disappoint that she wasn't going to spend Easter with me.  I gave my beautiful daughter a big hug and told her to have fun and enjoy herself.  She is 19 and this will be our first year apart for Easter.  Some times you just have to let them go.

But before they left we had hot cross buns and pancakes for breakfast.  Now its time for a quick post then relax for the rest of the day.

Making some changes

I have change the name of my blog, because I think it fits me better..  I hope you like it.  I will be putting a new post here once a week.

Changes are starting to happen

Well, when you want to make some changes and you give yourself a couple of year to try them, sometimes some of those changes start to happen before your very eyes.

Let me try to explain.  I have always wanted to write a story, I have started so many stories I just haven't finish them.  Only because the process is so hard in getting your book publish.  But just this week I have discovered EBooks' and I'm going to give that a try and see how that goes. So all of those stories I have started I can finally finish them.  Wish me luck....xo

Making Changes

Lately I've been thinking about making some changes in my life.  Just over 2 years and 2 months I will be 50.  And I don't want to miss out on trying things that I have wanted to do for a very long time.  So I thought in my 50's I'm going to things that I have wanted to do but was to scared to try.  I never want to get to the end of my life and say I wish I had try that or was didn't have a go at that.

So guest what I'm trying some new now and that is writing a blog each week and seeing what happens.  I would love to write a book, I have so many stories to tell. And the last thing I would like is to be able to work from home, so I can travel around Australia.

Winter is nearly here

As winter draws closer everyday and my work will start slowing down.  I have thought about what I'm going to do.  Well I'm going to start writing not just on this blog, but I'm going to start writing a book.

And if it doesn't work out well at least I have given it a go.  What is that saying nothing ventured nothing gain.
